The author gave me a copy for my honest review. I have to say I really liked this one. It's a light romance with plenty of falling in love moments.
The Green Hills of of Home is Emma Bennet's debut Novel and I think she's done a wonderful and amazing job. She capture you in the first pages with her characters and their circumstances and I've got to say that I really connect to Gwen as I'm an author myself. Her emotions and feelings were dead on. I think she had done a wonderful job with Gwen and not to mention the heart throb editor. What we authors wouldn't do to land an editor like John Thatcher.
Gwen's dog Oscar is really playing a very important role in this novel and everyone will fall in love with him and how he changes John.

I love romance but I hate the type of novels that just jump with one another into bed without even knowing who the other person is. Emma didn't do it here. Half way through the novel there isn't even any mention of falling in love etc and when it did happened it was so much more magical.
I appreciate the fact that Emma chose to do it that way. We got a chance to fall in love with Gwen and John and that says a lot.
I would recommend this novel to every one that loves a good light romance.

The Knifes Edge is an Epic Fantasy/ or High as some of you would call it. It's a world filled with elves, humans, dragons and all sorts of creatures just like every epic fantasy should haven.

What I didn't like about the book was the beginning. It was hard to get past the 100 pages and there were a few times I wanted to put it down and give up, but....

WOW!!! I'm so glad that I kept on reading. It's a story about good and dark and the way Matthew brought everything to live and not to mention the main plot. I can't wait for the second book and that is just because of his story telling ability. I have to admit there were here and there things that I struggled to see, but this novel is seriously amazing.

If you are an Epic Fantasy Lover, please, please, please buy this book. It is everything that you want in a fantasy and the characters will stay with you for a long time.

Lea's Review: Cain's Salvation by Sarah O'Rourke

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.

At first I was hesitant in reading this book. I read and re-read the first few pages a couple of times and couldn't get into it. Probably because I was busy with other books simultaneously. But as I sat down and forced myself to concentrate on just this book I actually found it very entertaining.

The characters were nicely developed and I loved how the book was written from everyone's perspective without being boring. As I was reading the hotter scenes, i started getting a sense of Dèja Vu with my own life. It gave me a sense of nostalgia.

I really loved the characters of Cain and Faith and wished that there was more to read at the end. It was a moment of silence at the end of the book where you sit with the book in hand and just think with the warm fuzzy feeling running through you. 

It really was a great read, and I would read it again in the future.

He opened his arms and Tess fell into them, clutching his shirt, and burying her head in his neck.

Drew pulled her tighter and buried his face in her hair. He was vaguely aware of a door opening and closing. He looked up to see that Jericho was gone.

It was just the two of them. She squirmed a little on his lap and Drew felt a slight hardening of his body. He’d felt the sensations for the last few days and hoped they were an indication that his entire body was healing. Relief washed over him as he realized another hurdle was being crossed.

When Tess lifted her face to his it seemed natural to move his lips over hers. It was a soft caress, just a touch. He brushed his lips over hers. She strained to get closer. His hands moved to the back of her head and deepened the kiss. Her lips parted, and his tongue traced the edges of her mouth. He knew she had little experience and didn’t want to frighten her.

Tess melted into his arms. She was totally unprepared for the warmth that swam over her body. My Thoughts!!!

I got a free copy from Mr Ping for my honest review. Now I'm not someone that loves Short stories but I'm open to them once in a while. 

I have to say, I thought Mr. Ping had a really well grip on short stories. You can tell he has written them before and that he chooses his words and scenes perfectly.
The first stories follows two twin boys born in a very wealthy family. The father off course want them to become war heroes, etc. The younger of the twins didn't obey, his heart was kind and had a love for music and arts.

The older of the twins, Alex, was everything his father wanted, but was Alex happy at the end?
I have to admit, I didn't get the message of this short story as strongly as I got the other two.
The second story is called: A mother gift.
I actually cried in this one, especially in the end. It's about a little boy Timmy that discovered he was adopted. Not knowing what it meant he asked his mother. It basically ruined mother's day for him, but Mr. Ping once again finished it beautiful. Like I said, I actually cried in this one.

The third and last, Once in a Blue moon is the story behind the saying. It's filled with Greek mythology and the rainbow was actually a goddess in this one too. It has a beautiful message and again I absolutely adored the ending.

I wish Mr. Ping absolutely success and I recommend this to everyone, even if you don't have a love for short stories.

These three are definitely a must read!!!

The dreams came and they were not pleasant at all. It was our world, consumed by

darkness. Everywhere I looked the fae were fighting. Fires consumed everything, the trees where

the Napaeas called home, the mountains the dwarves inhabited, the castle the Elves lived where

empty and trashed. The sun, which use to be so radiant and bright, was dark and cold. Our realm

has turned into a permanent night full of darkness and evil. This is not the world I knew. Where

did everyone go? What happened? I walked for a while, stepping around the rubble tossed on the

ground when I saw Aranhil having a fist fight with a Napaea.

“Aranhil! What are you doing? This is not who you are? What has gotten into you?” I

moved closer and touched his arm. He immediately turned around and I could see his beautiful

face has turned into a permanent snarl of anger and hate and his gorgeous eyes were no more.

They have been replaced by the dark red eyes I saw on Gadrin. This cannot be happening!

Backing away I saw him following me. Pulling his sword out and walking with it at his side. He

raised it up, ready to attack.

“Aranhil please! Don’t do this!” Begging seemed to be the only option, but it didn’t help.

I backed against someone and as I turned to see who it was, my arms were caught by someone

else’s hands and I was spun around. Landon was on my one side while Keira was on the other

holding me in place so that I couldn’t move. I knew that little bitch didn’t like me but this is way

too surreal even for her.

“Guys, please. Let me go! What’s going on here? HELP! Somebody please help me!” I

yelled but no one seem to hear or if they did, they obviously didn’t care. Aranhil moved closer,

sword ready.

“It’s because of you that this has happened.” Aranhil said as he stopped a few feet away.

“Me? Why me?”

“You didn’t have the courage or the power to do what you were supposed to do and now the

darkness has taken over. It’s all your fault and now you must pay.” his eyes started to glow like

the gems on an evil statue. I tried to break free but Landon and Keira’s grip was too strong. The

closer Aranhil came the more I struggled and screamed. No one cared and I was sure to die at the

hand of the man who claimed to love me. What is this world coming to? He lifted his sword, the

metal from the sword glowed with the reflection of the fire that surrounded us, and with one fast,

elegant movement he brought it down and just as it was about to kill me
